Aside for the fighters themselves trying to knock each other down, the next big attraction in the ring are none other than the beautiful, gorgeous, sexy ring girls. They add life to the event as the audiences start to whistle and howl like the macho men they are when they see the sexy ring girls. This claim is backed by the pictures below taken by Nikon Torres.

BRADLEY - MARQUEZ FIGHT at the Thomas & Mack, Las Vegas
There was the usual hype to promote the fight and the Manny Pacquiao fans where all eyes on the outcome of this fight. Marquez ended the Pacquiao - Marquez match up with a big bang by knocking out Manny Pacquiao, who took several seconds before he came to. For Timothy Bradley, the controversial and questionable decision has been a shadow that loomed over Bradleys boxing career.
I personally believe that either one of this boxers will be a good return grudge fight with Manny Pacquiao. I wanted Timothy Bradley to win on this one, with the reasoning that he can be matched with Manny Pacquiao, so we can all have a concrete final resolve as to who is really the best of this two fighters. After that he, Pacquiao, can fight Juan Manuel Marquez again and hopefully claim back what Manny Pacquiao lost to Marquez, big time.
Going back to Bradley - Marquez, when the bell rang both fighters came out strong. On the second round, I noticed that Bradley was fighting very much like Floyed "Money" Mayweather when the later fought Marquez. Posting at an angle with the shoulder high covering the chin, not engaging but jobbing and picking his punches and hitting the target anytime he wanted to. Bradley toyed and taunted the older Marquez, who was so focused with knocking out Bradley that he threw his right hook, the same punch that downed the famed Pacquiao, but could not land on target. To me it seemed that the older Marquez lost patience and at the same time lost the drive to win. I felt that he seemed wanting to win but did not have enough fire power to conquer Timothy Bradley.
I do agree with the split decision, though it seems like Bradley is getting to be known as the Split Decision Champion. Bradley fought a smart, intelligent fight and prevailed. Now, I will be waiting for the matched up between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios in November i Macao and if Pacquiao wins that fight, then maybe the Pacquiao - Bradley 2 will happen.
As usual, I welcome comments and request from all of you. I will try my very best to bring to you interesting topics and events. Please enjoy the collection of photos taken at the fight by photographer Nikon Torres..........

DUCKS at the Water Spill .... by Bobet Torres
I have been a photographer for over forty years now and time has taken it's toll on my physical being, so having to log around camera equipments is more of an endeavor than anything else. One day, I explored options that would help me when I walk around with a camera with a good lens on it and a quality to meet my standards and be able to document what nature would give me when I am up and about, with out breaking my back. I search the market online, and with all of the semi modified point and shoot camera around, there was not one that would fall into the criteria I had in mind. I want one that is light, and a manipulable setting that I can set my preference when photographing a subject. A good quality zoom lens with enough focal length variations on it and something that will retain my professional statues when I am seen shooting with it. As I browsed some more I came across a camera that has been my frustration for over forty years now and that is a Leica camera. For all this time a Leica was beyond my reach financially and since I could not carry my Canons twenty four seven, I had to have this Leica that I have found. For all I know, it was just my excuse to myself and a way to justify purchasing a camera that has been my lifelong dream. So a Leica V-Lux 1 was delivered to my front door and like a little boy opening a gift on christmas day, I tore through the box and brought out my dream and held it in my hands. From that day on I have not parted ways with my Leica. The photos below are the result of this very light camera with a 10.1 megapixel, carries a 35 to 420 mm DC Vario-Elmarit zoom lens. It also has the HD video capability, which I am not really hot about and an onboard flash that will suffice the requirements I need it for. The photographs of the ducks by the spillway is a result of this camera to which I am very happy with. So on the subject of frustrations, it is achievable, it might take it as long as mine did, but it happened so don't give up. I will have more instructional postings about equipments and photos taken. Your suggestions and questions are all welcome, so please post them on the comment section of this blog.
